Mel Harrigan
Mel Harrigan is a professional multi- instrumentalist from Woodville Ontario. From a young age she has had a love of music that started with Celtic music. This past summer Mel was featured on Natalie MacMasters website for a fiddle tune writing contest. Not only does Melissa play violin/fiddle she also plays Ukulele, Guitar And Piano. Playing multiple instruments has brought many performances and teaching opportunities her way. Currently she is a music teacher and the fiddle player/vocalist in the band The Connors Brothers. For the past 20 years Melissa's teaching method has always stayed the same. She believes every student needs to move at their own pace and lessons should be structured around the students wants and abilities.
Adam Harrigan
Adam Harrigan is a multi-instrumentalist who has been teaching professionally for over 20 years. His love of music started at a young age and as the years have gone by his skill in many genres has grown. Adam has had many performance opportunities and has had the pleasure of playing with many talented musicians. Adam’s approach to teaching is every student can be taught and not all student will learn the same. Each student needs to progress at their own pace and learn the songs they enjoy and listening to. Adam is also a very talented Guitar player. He was introduced to Guitar in high school and never looked back. Adam is a big believer that learning drums helps kids with focus, coordination and creativity.
